2. The role

In your role, you will be responsible for building and assembling various UAV components. As part of our technical team, your attention to detail and dedication will be key to maintaining our high standards of quality and ensuring that our drones meet the demands of our diverse client base.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of high-precision UAV systems. Your expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining UAV components will ensure optimal performance and reliability. Working closely with our technical team—the backbone of our operations—you will help maintain the high-quality standards of our products, ensuring the smooth and safe functioning of UAVs in critical missions. Your work will directly contribute to the long-term reliability and efficiency of our systems.

3. Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on UAVs, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with UAV systems, and implement repairs to restore functionality.

  • Replace or repair damaged components, such as motors, propellers, sensors, and electronics.

  • Conduct post-repair testing to ensure the UAV is fully operational.

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

4. What you bring

  • Educational background: Diploma at MBO-4 or HBO level in a technical field or a related discipline.

  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a similar technical role, preferably in the aerospace or UAV industry.

  • Attention to detail: Ability to identify errors and deviations and perform work with precision.

  • Time management: Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and accuracy in tasks.

  • Consistency: Strive for consistent quality and output in repetitive tasks.

  • Effective communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate efficiently with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • English: Competent in both spoken and written English.
