Three DeltaQuad team members share how they tackle technical challenges, collaborate across teams, and contribute to real-world aerospace technology.
Each year on March 8, International Women’s Day recognises women who shape industries, advance technology, and strengthen communities worldwide. One theme often used this year is “Give to Gain”. It highlights the importance of sharing knowledge, creating opportunities, and supporting each other’s growth. In fast-moving technical fields like aerospace, these contributions fuel innovation.
At DeltaQuad, team members across incident management, technical support and supply chain collaborate daily to turn complex challenges into real-world aerospace solutions.
To better understand what this work looks like in practice, we spoke with three women at DeltaQuad about their experiences and what they’ve learned working in aerospace.
Turning Complex Challenges Into Solutions
Innovation in aerospace depends on people who understand complex systems and continually refine them.

For Edine, who works as an Engineer at DeltaQuad, resolving issues is essential to keeping production running smoothly.
“My goal is to keep production going as soon as possible by fixing issues. To solve these problems, the elimination of variables really helps to find the root cause of the issues and to come up with a solution.”
A fast-paced technical setting requires analytical thinking and teamwork. Solving production issues often means examining several factors to find the root cause.
Edine continues to learn from real incidents and from the perspectives of colleagues across the team.
“I’m learning a lot here, while solving incidents and during conversations I have with colleagues and their way of thinking.”
Connecting Customers and Engineering
In aerospace, it’s just as important to know how systems work in real life as it is to design them.

For Claudia, working in customer success means talking daily with both customers and the engineering team.
“My role acts as a bridge between customers and the development team. By gathering customer feedback, operational experiences, and evolving needs, we gain a clearer understanding of what works well and where improvements are needed.”
Customer feedback plays an important role in improving systems as they develop. Working in research and development also means adapting to change and new ideas quickly.
“In my previous roles, products rarely changed, but here innovation is constant and new features are introduced regularly. At first, I found it challenging to see how ongoing development could impact delivery timelines. Over time, I learned that this process ensures customers receive an increasingly capable and reliable solution.
Claudia says hands-on learning has helped her build technical confidence and understand how systems evolve over time.
“Reading manuals, visiting the warehouse, and spending time in the field helped me better understand the system and the improvements being made. Most importantly, the support and patience of my colleagues have made a huge difference.”
Coordinating Operations in a Complex Environment
Every tech product relies on careful logistics, planning and teamwork to reach the people who need it.

For Oksana, Operations, dealing with complexity has shaped her career.
“Continuously building knowledge, analysing information, and solving practical challenges have shaped my professional approach. These experiences taught me not to fear complexity, to plan processes thoughtfully, and to make decisions based on data.”
Managing supply chains in a fast-paced tech company often means balancing limited resources, tight deadlines, and multiple priorities.
“One of the key challenges in my career was coordinating complex logistics processes with limited resources and tight deadlines. It required me to find efficient solutions quickly, communicate clearly across teams, and maintain strong self-organisation.”
At DeltaQuad, Oksana puts her experience to work in an environment where the product is constantly evolving to meet users’ needs.
“Operating in such a dynamic setting requires responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to new demands.”
Advice for Women Considering Aerospace Careers
Creating teams where more people can thrive takes opportunity, support and allyship and that’s something we actively work on. For women considering technical careers, curiosity and persistence are essential.
Claudia encourages women to follow their interests, even in fields that are still mostly male-dominated.
“Go for it. If this is what interests you, don’t hesitate. Even if the industry is still male-dominated, change is happening, and diversity makes teams stronger.”
Oksana agrees and emphasises the importance of confidence and continuous learning.
“I would encourage young women considering a career in aerospace or advanced technology not to doubt their knowledge or abilities. Success depends on curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to keep learning.”
Building Technology With Real-World Impact
For many working in aerospace, motivation goes beyond technical success. The systems they build often help people working in challenging situations.
Edine highlights this responsibility as one of the most meaningful aspects of her work.
“It’s really cool to work in a company that is growing so fast. I would like to have an impact on our own safety and freedom within the current geopolitical situation by making our product as good as possible for our end users who are risking their lives.”
Looking Ahead
As aerospace technology continues to evolve, progress will rely on teams with diverse skills, backgrounds and experiences.
At DeltaQuad, women in operations, engineering support and production work together every day to solve tough problems. Their efforts strengthen both our technology and our teams.
On International Women’s Day, we’re sharing what progress looks like in day-to-day work and the people helping move the industry forward.
The work of women at DeltaQuad shows how diverse perspectives strengthen teams, improve technology, and drive progress across the industry. Interested in solving complex problems with real-world impact? We’re hiring, explore open roles on our careers page.
