DeltaQuad and Metis Group Sign Letter of Intent to Strengthen Dutch Electronics Supply Chain for Unmanned Systems

Duivendrecht, the Netherlands, 13 August 2026: DeltaQuad and Metis Group have signed a Letter of Intent to explore strategic cooperation in electronics development, manufacturing and engineering services.

The intended collaboration will focus on the electronics behind the DeltaQuad product family.

This includes printed circuit boards, printed circuit board assemblies, box-build and integrated module assembly, co-development, engineering support, design for manufacture and product lifecycle management.

Metis Group will contribute through its operating companies Variass and AME. Together, based on a strong track record within the industry, they bring proven Netherlands-based capabilities in high-tech electronics development, industrialisation and manufacturing.

For DeltaQuad, the Letter of Intent is part of a broader production scale-up. Demand for unmanned systems is growing in a fast-evolving environment where defence organisations need stronger and more resilient supply chains. This makes production capacity, technical depth and reliable industrial partners increasingly important.

This collaboration marks another step towards a scalable Dutch and European production ecosystem. It strengthens the electronics layer within that ecosystem, while DeltaQuad remains the system integrator, product owner and design authority for its product family.

The Letter of Intent sets out the parties’ strategic intent to work towards a subsequent Definitive Cooperation Agreement. In that next phase, the parties intend to further define the scope, technical requirements and implementation steps.
