2. The role

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and resilience of our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage suppliers towards establishing a robust supply chain redundancy while overseeing procurement processes to ensure optimal sourcing and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with various internal departments such as Operations, Logistics, and Finance to streamline processes and enhance the overall effectiveness of our supply chain.


3. Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness of goods and services.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and implement improvements.

  • Anticipate and mitigate potential risks related to supplier dependencies through strategic planning and proactive measures.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to establish a diverse and resilient supplier base.

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and vendor management.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals.

  • Develop procurement strategies to optimize costs, minimize risks, and ensure continuity of supply. 

  • Ensure the efficiency and resilience of our supply chain operations.


4. What you bring

  • Strategic thinking, supplier relationship management, analytical skills, project and risk management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or related roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement processes, and industry best practices.

  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software, ERP systems, etc.

  • Relevant certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are desirable.
